On this occasion I am testing the top-of-the-line model, the 2024 Kia Seltos SX, with a base price of $29,990. There are several options and different trim styles of Seltos, starting at $24,390. The Seltos is an excellent SUV at a very low price, and is designed to handle difficult terrain in the countryside, or in the city. The 2024 Seltos continues to provide a comfortable driving experience that gives confidence to its owners. The Seltos SX I’m testing offers a more powerful, 1.6-liter turbo GDI four-cylinder engine with 195 horsepower and 195 lb-ft. of torque, an increase of 20 horsepower over the previous model, combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission for good versatility in gear changes.

The standard 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine offers 146 horsepower and 132 lb-ft. of torque, sent through an Intelligent Variable Transmission and is included on LX, S, X-Line, and EX models. Normal, Intelligent and Sport driving modes use specific settings for the powertrain, powertrain, suspension and steering, to deliver a very good driving experience.

The Kia Seltos SX I’m testing has a fuel economy of 25 MPG City, 27 MPG Highway, and 26 MPG Combined. Considering that the Seltos is a normal car, not hybrid or electric, it has excellent gas mileage with an average of 26 miles per gallon.

It seems that Kia has thought of everything to create a very economical SUV with a lot of added value and that is also economical to drive with such low gasoline consumption. Your wallet will be very happy with the big savings to drive this SUV for many miles on a single tank of gas.

The full tank of the Seltos has the capacity to store 13.2 gallons of gasoline, and with the full tank it can be driven with a combined range of approximately 343 Miles, which is a very good range for a small tank of gas.

I am driving the Kia Seltos SX which is an excellent top of the line model of the Seltos family. The previous model at the top of the Seltos SX line, the Seltos X-line model is a very special model and is worth paying attention to it as well.

Advanced Security Features

Kia’s list of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) keeps the 2024 Seltos up to date with some of the latest technologies with very nice recently added features.

Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) with Pedestrian and Cyclist Detection: Designed to detect approaching vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists under certain conditions. If the system detects that a collision is likely, the system can apply the brakes to help prevent a collision or lessen the effects in certain conditions.

Blind Spot Collision Warning (BCW). Designed to detect vehicles traveling in the adjacent lane under certain circumstances. If the system detects a vehicle in your blind spot, the system is designed to provide an audible and visual warning when the turn signal is activated (standard on S trim and above).

Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA) and Intelligent Speed Limit Warning (ISLW). These are designed to detect the maximum speed limit of a road in some cases, provide alerts to the driver and even limit the car’s speed depending on the settings (standard in the Seltos SX version).

Additional standard ADAS features are many and include Driver Attention Warning (DAW), High Beam Assist (HBA), Lane Following Assist (LFA), Rear View Monitor (RVM), and Rear Occupant Alert (ROA). ).

The Seltos S and higher trims add Safe Exit Warning (SEW) and Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA), while the top-of-the-line Seltos SX I’m driving offers Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Cross-Traffic Turn Smart Cruise with Stop and Go (SCC), Navigation-Based Smart Cruise Control (NSCC, Curve) and Highway Driving Assistant (HDA).
