2023 Bronco Sport Heritage Limited
The Sport Bronco is a very attractive four-door small SUV that is actually not so small, not only it has good performance with various driving modes and 4×4 available but also has great pricing starting at $29K for the base price, all the way to $45K for the top-of-the-line model Heritage Limited that I am test driving.
The new Ford Bronco Sport heritage edition trim models are a way to celebrate and remember the creation of the original legendary 1966 Bronco. This is a remake of the original Bronco, with a similar retro look but with all the power and technology of the new 2023 Bronco.
Driving the top of line of the Bronco Sport family, the Heritage Limited trim, will bring pleasure and make you popular everywhere you go, get ready for people approaching you everywhere to tell you how much they like your Bronco.
Forget expensive and fancy luxury cars, the Bronco Sport Heritage Limited trim can get more attention than most other cars you can drive, people just love the look and the dual tone color combination.
Everywhere I go I am already aware of eye contact with a smile, or thumbs up telling me how nice is my car. It happened repeated times, again and again in every parking lot I visited. People love the white wheel rims and the exterior two-tone color combination of roof and body. My car was a light blue exterior with a white rooftop, a cool retro exterior look. The Bronco Sport has an aggressive shape, and a practical size, not too big not too small, just a perfect small SUV size that feels bigger due to its great space distribution and good cargo space.
The Bronco Sport is designed for the outdoors with six available models according to your needs and budget. The exterior can be beautifully customized with eleven attractive colors.
A Small SUV with a Large Cargo Capacity
Cargo capacity and interior capacity are larger than expected on this small SUV with seating for 5 passengers. I decided to buy some large furniture when driving my Bronco Sport and to my surprise everything fitted in the cargo area.
The 2023 Bronco Sport reminded me of those endless magic boxes where magicians keep putting things inside non-stop. The large cargo compartment doors help and is nice that you can just open the glass of half of the cargo door or the complete door. If needed, the Bronco Sport is very versatile and you can recline the seats on the second row to extend the cargo area all the way to the middle of your Bronco. Recline the tree seats or just one or two of the seats.
2023 Bronco Sport Heritage Limited
All trim models in the 2023 Bronco Sport lineup are very attractive and fun to drive for sure, however, if you want to get the best of the best Bronco Sport, then the Heritage Limited Trim is the best Sport Bronco you can drive. The Sport Heritage and the Sport Heritage Limited both resemble the original 1966 Bronco with cool retro two-tone colors.
Besides the attractive retro look of the two Heritage trims, the Heritage Limited, priced around $45K, has top-of-the-line power and performance in the Bronco Sport Family.
“Bronco captivated America in the mid-’60s with its rugged style and uncompromising off-road agility, a legacy that is still prevalent today,” said Mark Grueber, Bronco marketing manager. “With these new Heritage and Heritage Limited editions, we’re paying respect to Bronco’s roots with nods to some of the signature design cues from the first-generation vehicle, while continuing to build the Bronco Brand with more special editions that our customers want.”
250 Horsepower Performance for the Heritage Limited Sport Bronco
Just like the full-size Bronco, the 2023 Bronco Sport Heritage Edition SUV is built on the Big Bend series, with a 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine producing 181 horsepower and 190 lb.-ft. of torque, more than enough for this small SUV.
The Heritage Limited Sport Bronco has the increased performance and off-road capability of the Badlands series, with an upgraded and more powerful 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine with up to 250 horsepower and 277 lb.-ft. of torque for high-speed off-road performance.
The Bronco Sport is smart and powerful with a H.O.S.S. system with increased ride height and uniquely tuned front struts with hydraulic rebound stops designed to provide a quiet, less jarring off-road experience and better performance. The 46-millimeter-diameter monotube rear shocks, antiroll bars, and uniquely tuned springs help provide off-road comfort to take your Bronco Sport into any adventure.
The Terrain Management System offers five G.O.A.T. Models for any terrain and road conditions. The basic driving modes in the versatile Bronco Sport include Normal, Eco, Sport, Slippery, and Sand.
The top-of-line Heritage Limited includes an advanced 4×4 system with a twin-clutch rear-drive unit with a differential lock can divert virtually all rear axle torque to either wheel, and the G.O.A.T. Driving Modes system increases to seven modes instead of the standard five modes, adding Mud, Ruts and Rock Crawl.
Fuel Economy
The first five trim models in the Bronco Sport family have a fuel economy of 25 MPG in the city and 28 MPG on the Highway, which will give you very good savings in gas. The last two top models in the lineup have a stronger engine with a fuel economy of 21 MPG in the city, and 26 MPG on the Highway.
Technology
The Bronco Sport offers updated technology with good features like the available GPS navigation and Phone connectivity with Apple Carplay and Android Auto apps. Voice-Activated Touchscreen Navigation is optional.
The surroundings of this SUV are visible from many angles with the 180-degree camera with split-view access among other features like the available Ford Co-Pilot 360 Assist.
